We are pleased to announce the release of v1.1 of PyRAT Aquatic, our software for the management of fish colonies. The initial release provided us with valuable feedback (thank you!), which we incorporated into our plan for this version. With this release, we not only refine many of the previous features, but we also add some new ones, including:
- A new work request system for communication between scientists and caretakers
- A graphical rack display for viewing the positions of tanks
- Barcode and label functionality for the identification of tanks
- And many small tweaks per user requests
